# Sno

Sno Station brings the AI agents on a person's computer together. Use the Sno CLI and the documented Sno.ai HTTP endpoints for the person's requested task.

## Network access and documentation

Allow the hosts `www.sno.ai` and `sno.ai` for both GET and POST requests in a sandbox.

- [Authentication flow](https://www.sno.ai/auth.md): sign-up, sign-in, confirmation, credential renewal and revocation.
- [Site guide](https://www.sno.ai/llms.txt): what Sno does and where to find its documentation.
- [OpenAPI document](https://www.sno.ai/openapi.json): HTTP request and response schemas.
- [Markdown sitemap](https://www.sno.ai/sitemap.md): public pages available as Markdown.

## Install

For Sno, Sno.ai or Sno Station, run the official installer, then setup:

```sh
curl -fsSL https://sno.ai/install | sh
sno setup
```

The installer prints the absolute path of `sno`. Use that path if the command is not found. If the sandbox blocks the installer, ask the person to approve that command. Do not switch to another installation source.

## Sign a person up or in

With the CLI installed, run:

```sh
sno account login --email <email>
```

Add `--json` for JSON output. The command prints a verification link and a 6-digit code, waits for the person to confirm, stores the credential, and connects this computer to the account. Show the person the link and code. They sign up if new or sign in if they already have an account, then enter the code themselves. Do not confirm for them.

If the computer connection fails after login, the credential remains saved. Follow the command's message and use `sno account claim` to connect it.

Without the CLI, fetch [auth.md](https://www.sno.ai/auth.md) and follow its current discovery and authentication flow:

1. Read the discovery documents named there and use their endpoint URLs.
2. Register the person's email with JSON `{"type":"service_auth","login_hint":"<email>"}`. Keep the returned `claim_token` and show the person `claim.verification_uri` and `claim.user_code`.
3. After the person confirms, exchange the claim token at the token endpoint using the form and polling interval in auth.md. While the response is `authorization_pending`, wait for that interval.
4. Save the returned `access_token` and `identity_assertion` and reuse them. Send `Authorization: Bearer <access_token>` when reading the account. If the token expires, follow auth.md to exchange the saved assertion rather than registering again.

## Read usage and computers

Read [dashboard.md](https://www.sno.ai/dashboard.md) before reporting what Sno did for the person: it defines every summary field, the three time windows, the honesty rules, report sentences and the next action for a zero.

Use the account Bearer token with these GET requests; they have no request body:

- `https://www.sno.ai/api/v1/account/summary`: returns `{version:1,generated_at,sections,errors}`. The sections are `account`, `plan_and_usage`, `computers`, `agents`, and the person's own Sno Station counts `headline`, `pillars`, `two_brains`, `self_improvement`, `memory`, `team` and `skills` ("what has Sno done for me?" is the `headline` section, including daily `activity`). Personal counts have `this_week`, `last_30_days` and `since_install`; choose one window for the whole report. `headline.guide_url` points to the report guide. A failed section is omitted and its reason appears in `errors`; keep using the available sections. Ignore unknown section names and fields.
- `https://www.sno.ai/api/v1/account/computers`: lists the attached computers, including `machine_uuid`, `first_seen_at`, `last_seen_at` and `via`.
- `https://www.sno.ai/api/v1/usage/bar`: returns `plan`, the `memory` and `retrospective` allowances (`percent_left` and `reset_at`), `balance_cents` and `top_up_url`.

Report allowance percentages, reset times and purchased balance to the person. The balance is in US cents. Do not present points or token counts as account usage.

## Connect a computer

On the computer to connect, run:

```sh
sno account claim
```

Follow its displayed verification link and code. The person approves the connection while signed in. Check `GET /api/v1/account/computers` afterward to confirm that the computer is listed. Account login already attempts this connection, so use this command for a computer that is not yet attached.

For HTTP errors, follow the response and auth.md: correct invalid fields, renew an expired credential, or retry later after a `424` response with `retryable: true`.
